Heyheyhey, those involved in musical, please report at the DANCE STUDIO at 2:45PM TOMORROW ( tuesday : 30/06/09 )

There will be a short rehearsal tomo, so do remember to bring your DANCE PANTS!!!

Please remember to bring your make up applicators, fake eyelashes, foundation, eyeliner, contacts, BLACK clips and rubberbands, make up remover etc etc etc!

Pack them all in your make up kit and bring it to the DANCE STUDIO tomorrow. Make sure that your make up kits are LABELED!

Dont forget that your eyebrows should have be trimmed already!!!! If it is not trimmed or you still have items to buy, do that after dance.

as many of you have given feedback that you do not have sufficient time to trim your eyebrows due to ayg,

you will have 1.45 pm - 4pm on tuesday to trim your eyebrows + buy the items that you require.

i'm sure 2 hr 15 mins would be sufficient time to trim your eyebrows,
so we do not want to hear anything about not having enough time / any other excuses.

MUSICAL 09 IMPORTANT MESSAGE,
FROM LYNN, Former President :

HAIR

Please try and get your maids/mums/hair stylists/friends/whoever to help you do up the hairstyle on the 1st July - 4th July! Those who are unable to get the hairstyle, seek help from seniors/friends during those days!

A kind reminder :
As alot of you have layered hair/short hair, please use GEL/HAIRSPRAY/PINS&CLIPS to keep it neat. This is complusory, everyone's hair is to be neat and tidy!

There will be HAIR CHECKS!!
Those who fail the checks will face deadly consequences, NO JOKE THIS TIME ROUND.

STANDARD = SYF STANDARD.
Please treat the 4 days seriously, even during the technical runs. Im sure you don't want the musical to fail, right?

ACCESSORIES
THINGS TO GET ( COMPLUSORY ) + TO CALL YOUR OWN :

  1. Fake eyelashes ( normal, simple, natural kinds. Dont buy those with funny pearls/glitter ! )
  2. Fake eyelash glue + eyelash curler ( this is optional, you may share with your friends or whatever )
  3. Black hair accessories ( pins/clips/rubber bands etc ) , * at least 20 pins and above!!!
  4. Your own MAKE UP KIT/Ziploc bag
  5. Make up remover
  6. Black eyeliner ( liquid ONLY )
  7. A set of makeup applicators
  8. Foundation ( try to get a light skin tone one )
  9. Wet tissues/Dry tissues
  10. Get g-string/maxi panties/v-cut underwear! ( you'll be wearing leotards )
  11. Tube top brassiere ( preferably skin-colour, and those where u can put/remove padding ) + Nipple stickers ( optional )
  12. Transparent bra strap ( only transparent, please no patterns-kind )
  13. IF you wear glasses, please get EYE CONTACT LENS + get eye contacts eyedrop ( air conditioned places makes your eyes dry up easily )
  14. PLASTERS

During the 4 days, please remember to bring your own water bottle and a hot pack ( winteng is selling them for $2 each ) and jackets!!

IMPORTANT :
Do remember to TRIM YOUR EYEBROWS! ( pluck/wax/string whatever works ), There will be CHECKS!!!

Please dont forget to shave your underarms.

THE NO-NO'S :

  1. No nail polish on fingernails/toenails
  2. No long nails, which means, CUT THEM!
  3. No ear studs/ear rings/necklaces/bracelets/anklets/watches etc
  4. No coloured hair clips/rubber bands


BALLET SHOES:
It's been standardised that everyone is to get PINK ballet shoes if you are required. ONLY PINK!!!

However, THE CHOICE to wear them is UP TO YOU.
Please decide amongst yourselves and decide.

TAKE NOTE: If you're going to wear ballet shoes for a particular dance, please make sure that EVERYONE dancing in that dance is okay with the decision and that EVERYONE wears ballet shoes for that dance.

The choice to wear ballet shoes are gonna be decided according to the different dances.

For example, everyone dancing in the Ballet Dance wears ballet shoes, but the same dancers dancing in the next dance need not wear ballet shoes, if some dancers are unwilling to wear ballet shoes.

It all depends on EVERYONE's decision who are dancing in the different dances.

If you guys can't decide amongst yourselves, the seniors will decide.

NEXT WEEK:

There is a high possibility that there will be Musical Training on Tuesday ( 30/06/09 ), so more details will be revealed and comfirmed again.

Important :
Please bring your own make-up kits ( filled up with your makeup etc ) and LABEL THEM WITH NAME on tuesday. We're gonna leave your make up kits in the dance studio, so that everyone will not forget to bring anything on wednesday ( first technical run )!
Therefore, pack EVERYTHING inside your makeup kit - fake eyelashes, wet tissues, foundation, eyeliner, your own makeup remover, pins/clips/rubberbands etc etc etc. \

SO, YOU HAVE TO GET EVERYTHING DONE ( TRIMMED EYEBROWS ) + BOUGHT EVERYTHING YOU NEED BY TUESDAY.

TUESDAY will also be the day when the seniors do A CHECK on your eyebrows + make up kit ( whether you have everything you need ).

The last last last day to get your eyebrows trimmed is wednesday. By wednesday, you MUST have EVERYTHING you need - Tube tops, make up applicators, contacts, clips, fake eyelashes etc etc etc.

DONT FORGET TO PRACTICE YOUR STEPS TOO!!

Dont be late kay!

If you're a " BLACK ", please wear a Plain Black Tee for dance tomorrow.

1st June - 5th June MUSICAL PRACTICES:

Please take note of the dates and details! :)
I'll update about the practices in the 2nd week of june, when i get the schedule ~ 8)


You are still welcomed to use the dance studio to practice during 4PM - 7PM during practices even if you're not required to come. ^^

PRACTICES ARE FROM 4PM - 7PM.
Standard timing, don't be late ~ :D

And please help to inform the absentees of the changes or whatsoever, thank you !! :]
